Unseen Turbulence

Of course you can see into the water
for a distance. Then turbulence
caused by a fish, upturned stone,
who knows? Near the bottom fish
and stone shift in sun and shadow.

So do my feelings fold into a fish
or get carried down by a stone.
Unseen turbulence exists in me
and I am not stranger than
sun, shadow or stone.
