The Nuclear Snow Globe

April 8, 2016 admin No comments exist

There were spent fuel rods
rusted and dismantled
inside my snow globe

That nonetheless fired
when I began to shake
and look in at home

Snow flakes to meteors
and boys bodies flying
in the familiar scenes

So I stored it in the cellar
with old books and albums
and old memories unheeded.
